From September 30 to October 3, 2026, Marubeni Lumber Vietnam exhibited at the Vietnam Interior & Build Expo (VIBE 2026) at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City. More than 300 companies took part this year.
Our booth showcased IKONIH, our line of children’s toys and furniture made from Japanese Hinoki (cypress) wood. IKONIH follows the idea of “Mokuiku” (wood education), which encourages children to touch, smell and learn through natural wood from an early age.
Booth highlights:
- Hinoki wooden ball pit: hundreds of wooden balls surrounded by play panels such as a marble run, a peg board and gears. It was the most popular spot for kids throughout the show.
- Pretend-play sets: kitchen and cooking sets, a cutting-food set and a fishing set.
- Developmental toys: wooden cars, a moon balance stacker, a gacha machine, a wooden camera and more.
- Children’s furniture: chairs, a baby walker and toy shelves.
- Hinoki essential oil and sachets: making use of the wood’s relaxing scent and natural antibacterial properties.
Over the four days, we welcomed families, architects, designers and business visitors. Children loved the ball pit, parents valued the safety and natural scent of the wood, and many companies stopped by to discuss distribution partnerships.
Thank you to everyone who visited our booth. We are now looking for distributors for IKONIH and also welcome OEM/ODM projects for wooden products. Please get in touch through our website or Facebook page.
